B.S.M.T.
Dr. Nguyen completed his Doctorate degree from Parker
College of Chiropractic in 2009. He was a class
salutatorian and Magna Cum Laude. He also earned
several B.S degrees: Health and Wellness, Parker
College; Anatomy, Parker College; Biology and Medical
Technology, George Mason University. He is also a
board certified Acupuncturist. Growing up and taking
care of his younger brother who had a muscular
dystrophy, Dr. Nguyen understands the importance of
being healthy and well. Once he stepped foot in
America, he knew what he wanted to do, and that was
to get involved in the medical field to help his
brother. Dr. Nguyen found out that with regular
chiropractic care his brother was not only functioning better but also helped in slowing
down the deterioration of the disease. With chiropractic care, his brother was able to
exceed the normal life’s expectancy for most muscular dystrophy patients.
Unfortunately, his brother passed away in 2006. After his beloved brother passed
away, he decided to go on to pursue a career in the chiropractic field to help other
unfortunate people that might have some conditions similar to his brother. Dr. Nguyen
strongly believes that health comes from within. If you take care of your body, your
body will take care of you and “let your food be your medicine, and let your medicine
be your food.”(Hippocrates)
Tan Luong, D.C., A.E.E.
After a long educational journey, attending Xavier
University of Louisiana, University of New Orleans,
as well as Remington College of Technology, Dr.
Luong has finally found his purpose in the
chiropractic profession. Dr. Luong graduated from
Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Tx and
earned his doctorate degree in chiropractic in
2009. In addition to his doctorate degree in
chiropractic, he also holds a degree in Electronics
Engineering. He enjoys working with problems and
fixing them as he did with his electronics
engineering background. One day a friend spoke to
him about chiropractic and how chiropractic care focuses on restoring alignment,
movement, and function of the spine to directly influence the nervous system thus
enabling the body to heal itself naturally. Dr. Luong thought to himself, “Sounds like
what I’ve been doing with my electronics engineering background, finding the
misalignment (problem) of the spine and realigning (fixing) it to restore function.” With
that, realization of his purpose began at Parker College of Chiropractic, "To help people
get more out of their body, to have their best futures, to enjoy life more, to the
possibilities and potential for greater health and healing that is waiting to be expressed
through chiropractic care."
