Effectively treating your pain and helping you meet your wellness goals is our commitment to you. In order to help you reach your goals, your initial appointment will consist of a consultation, an examination, and an assessment report along with a suggested treatment schedule.
Prior Paperwork
Before you see the doctor, you will complete a standard health history form that will ensure the doctor factors in all of the outlying causes for your condition. Our office manager is happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have during this process.
Consultation
Once you complete your paperwork, you will meet with the doctor regarding your current condition and your future wellness goals. The more information we have about your previous and present health conditions, the more efficient the prognosis and treatment. Knowledge of our patients' health histories and goals enables us to create tailored solutions that will put them on the path to recovery.
Examination
After your consultation, your doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination which often times includes checking your reflexes, testing your range of motion as well as other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural and physical examinations. If necessary, we may refer you out for x-ray's or MRI's in order to get a thorough evaluation of your condition.
Assessment Report
Once the examination is completed, your doctor will discuss the recommended steps to take in an effort to reach your health goals. The assessment report will not only clarify your treatment suggestions and costs, but will also help you determine whether or not our advanced services are right for you.
Treatment
With your consent, your doctor will usually end your initial appointment with your first treatment which may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, spinal decompression, cold laser, and/or physical therapy
We encourage you to voice any questions or concerns you may have with your suggested treatment schedule so that we can ensure you have a pleasant chiropractic experience
